A Mother's Day I Won't Forget!
We had a very special Mother's Day yesterday.
My sisters and I also got a picture with our mom.
My mother was so happy to get this picture. She says she loves when she has all three of us together.
My family and I spent the day at a surprise birthday party for my Grandmother's 85th birthday (My Dad's Mom). She was so surprised and actually had the nerve to get mad at everyone for keeping it a secret from her, LOL!
It was really nice seeing everyone that I hadn't seen in years. There was a lot of extended family there as well and the funny thing is that the people I didn't expect to remember actually remembered me, but the people I just KNEW would remember me couldn't remember my name... go figure!
My Grandmother really enjoyed herself and danced quite a few times... yes, apparently 85 year olds dance much more than us "youngsters"! lol
Here's a picture with my sisters and I, our Dad, our Grandmother and my nephew.

I just wish I had taken a better picture! Tell me why I look so tired in these pictures? Oh well, I had been up since early that morning so I'll just blame it on a long day, LOL! That's the thing about pictures. you never know how they will turn out until it's too late!
As soon as we got there, we started helping with the decorating and setting everything up. Then we ended up going to the store to pick up the cake and when we came back we did even MORE setting up. I completely forgot to bring my flats so I was doing all of that in heels. Needless to say my feet were killing me by the time the night was over!
After I finally made it home, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep at least 2 hours earlier than I usually do. I think everyone at the party slept good last night!
Yesterday was a Mother's Day I won't soon forget.
I hope all of you had a fabulous Mother's Day as well!

Sunday Scripture
Matthew 7:1-5 (NAB)
(1) Stop judging, that you may not be judged. (2) For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you. (3) Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye? (4) How can you say to your brother, "Let me remove that splinter from your eye", while the wooden beam is in your eye? (5) You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother's eye.
