I am Mandisa and I would like to welcome you to my blog!
I am a traditional girly girl who is a huge advocate for the traditional roles of men and women.
I am very old-fashioned and most people who know me often joke that I was born at least 50 years too late, LOL! I used to think that too until I realized exactly why God put me here during this time.
I am a true "Midwest Girl". I was born and raised in the Midwest where I still currently reside. I grew up in a large city but have never been a "city girl". I have always pictured myself living in a country, rural area and I have plans to make that move very soon! I am also looking forward to having my own farm.
In addition, I love surrounding myself with beautiful things whether it's beautiful scenery, art or possessions. Some of my interests are cooking, baking, crafting, reading, writing, sewing, knitting and designing clothing (mostly inspired from the 1800's and 1930's eras).
I am also interested in homesteading, self-sufficiency and living a completely natural lifestyle. Which includes making my own hair care, skincare and beauty products.
This blog is a way for me to share my experiences with you. I would love to share with you what I am learning on my journey through life.
